Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is 15 weeks of 10* weather, 20 additional rental air compressors at Killington, and no more broken snowmaking pipes.
I have been a very good boy this year.
Todd
PS While Vermont is very important, please take care of my buddy Jim up in Maine too (whether he's been a good boy or not.)

Dear Santa:
And this Jim just wants to say "Thank You" for the 20" of snow that fell in Colorado while we were there. There's nothing quite as pretty as seeing the snow covered pines as the sun is coming up. And please provide the city of Denver a few snow plows so they can keep their roads looking better than the Eisenhower Pass (b'cause they didn't this week).

I, too, am wishing that Santa would bring some cold temps from the North Pole. Funny, I got an e-mail from my home mountain where they made some snow last night. The almost promise to be open on Monday, no guarantee after that day, as the temps will climb later in the week. The run that will be open is served by the slowest chair I've ever rode and goes up about 200 vert ft. Much more probable that I'll play golf again before I ski.
HelluvaSkier just might be in for some good times with the lake-effect snow in the Buffalo region.

Holiday Valley opens tomorrow. I looked at the HV webcams and they are opening with one chair. Looked at Holimont webcam from several days ago, all green..... . Enjoy being Helluvabiker for a little while longer.

Ironically I stopped riding in October in order to prepare for ski season... then ended up getting really sick for over a month, so I've lost most of my pre-season fitness and preparation. I have a lot of work to do over the next month or so. My fitness is way behind normal, so I imagine my first six or eight weeks on snow are going to be pretty lack-luster.

Dear Santa,
What Todd said at the beginning. Today was nice, can we have some more, please. Real snow would be nice, too, but I would be happy with only cold weather.
I think I have been a good boy the last year. If you have any questions about that, just ask my wife, she always speaks for me.
If this is asking too much, please make sure everyone has a Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year.
Thank you,
Jimmy in Maine

Thank you Santa,
Sunday: 5"
Today: 10" and still snowing.
At least night time temps in the teens or lower for the next 7 - 10 days.
Thank you Mother Nature

Let's all hope that Baby New Year treats eastern skiers a whole lot better than Santa.
Enjoy the 'loaf Jim, it's going to be a long time for Pa skiing to open. If it were not a 500 mile drive, It would be great to meet you and ski there.
