Hi Lynn, That appears to be an intense workout. I've been in older Philly high rise buildings and can vouch that they are not hospitable environments. The great news is that stairs can be done during the major snow NYC just experienced. Where does the city put all that snow? Did Jim shovel the mountain home out...thank God for snow blowers in Philly.
My skiing knees are problematic this year, no way I could do a lot of stair climbing. Some arthritis and Patella Femoral syndrome sometimes makes knees feel used-up. Off to Aspen next week, it will be reality check as my training has been limited.

Haven't been upstate in quite a few weeks, but the big snow here didn't extend very far inland (the storm was angling out to sea).
B'sides, half way thru the heavy snow(s) last year my 67 year old body decided we should hire a pickup truck plow to deal with the driveway as necessary.
