LP, This is not that difficult. Just tip the inside ski, pull that inside ski back, and counterbalance like there is no tomorrow and voila, the stance ski will hook up . Meput, Thanks! You just saved me $3k as I no longer need to go to a Harb Camp. I did experience a mini-epiphany this week thanks to Harald's Blog about staying light after transition, setting tipping angles and then let the ski apply pressure as it enters the fall line. In hindsight, I was hitting the edge pressure much too quickly on the new stance ski. A little float can be a great thing.

Thanks! You just saved me $3k as I no longer need to go to a Harb Camp. Careful where you say this, Harald might not let me attend other camps if he thinks I'm giving away the secrets to skiing. I hope you have many epiphanies and ah-hah moments. They make this learning to ski journey fun.

I'm thinking that after two camps, you have all the quals needed to attend a Green Instructor Camp. The east needs all the PMTS qualified instructors it can get. The 'loaf Ski School would be glad to open a PMTS Division for you. @hellua I said a "little" float is a good thing. Show off!

I don't think HH would want a coach that can do a good rendition of a "heluva release". As far as the 'loaf ski school, I have already insulted enough of the instructor joey's that I don't think they would play nicely with me. Furthermore, my wife says I need to have a "real" job and ski instructing "is not a real job" (sorry HH, she said that, not me). Also, have you noted my avatar? I really don't fit the norm for instructing. Remember Smackboy saying he recognized me immediately at camp because of my avatar. But thank you for the words of encouragement. How about Jim and Lynn? They have each done more camps than I have.
