Well tonight I got intimate with an old flame. To be truthful, I'd been watching her for weeks, but wasn't sure about the "commitment thing." To be downright honest, I was avoiding her. But ski season started three days ago, and that forced me into action because I can't imagine hitting the slopes without her companionship.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so they say. And thus I'd forgotten what a demanding woman she and her twin sister could be. And how cold they both could get at times.
As fate would have it, I entered both of them tonight. In the same bedroom. (Score!) Slowly, tenderly, with much protracted foreplay, for they are a "tight" fit and I am on the large side for Raptor B2 and her twin. Two gals at once ... It's gonna be a great season. We're off for a threesome romp on the slant board.
PS I didn't mention my use of silicone spray lube or ultra thin "socks" but your imagination can fill in the gaps....

Todd, You crack me up! Via laughing not the drug.
I, too, do HH's slant board drills, although, none to date for this season. I have absolutely no romantic thoughts about the boots I use...a 25 year old pair of Solomon SX 92's. What I do like about these boots is rear entry is so easy. (cough, cough). I also do it while looking in a mirror. (cough, cough).
What's your best guess for K'ton opening and when will you get first days. Stairway to Heaven awaits.

I was about ready to respond "WOW! ME TOO!" ...then I saw you were talking about ski boots.

ROTFLMAO. If I wasn't so lazy I'd go looking for the emoticon to prove it.
Todd,Heluva, maybe the two of you should go on the road (or trail, as the case may be). Laurel and Hardy replacements. Good initial post, two terrific responses.
Can snow and cold weather be that far away?

LP,
Best guess given current patterns is that the stairway will be open by Nov 10. They would've blown snow last weekend except that the Noreaster passing through right now would have melted it. Unlike Colorado, they can run over 200 guns to open the Northridge area in under 8 hours. Often there's a surprise "soft" opening for season passholders only when they do this and don't have quite enough base for the hordes. Rime opens first. Then Reason with a small park. Then when low elevation temps permit, they blow snow on Great Northern to the base. Double Dipper is next. Upper DD first and eventually lower DD, the first steep of the year.
I was planning to redeye it to CO next Thursday evening for a 3-day weekend, but there's only 1 run open. Keystone and Copper are supposed to open that Friday (Halloween), but I'm not buying a ticket until Loveland is open and one of the other two looks to be on track.
Take care not to steam up that mirror; it kills the view.
