Edit: problem resolved. Thanks, Lynn.
This morning I went to the pmts site and got a page saying I'd been permanently banned based upon my IP address.
This could be because I usually use my iphone and ATT will share its IP pool across millions of users, some of whom no doubt misbehave. But it could also mean the site has been hacked.
Can anyone else see their content on the forum? If you do, could shoot a pm to Max_501 saying that ToddW was apparently banned based on IP address and that he is unaware of having done anything that would lead to a ban and that the ip is from the ATT cellular network pool.
Thanks

Todd: Got video? No wonder they banned you? I'm sure the FSB's (Fischer Ski Babe's) message will solve the problem. Whoops, I guess I should now refer to her as the MSB (Mya Ski Babe) since she is on Mya 7's and 8's (or will be when the season finally arrives). BTW, I am predicting warmer temps but lots of snow for the east coast this year.

Don't need no stinking video. It contains one turn with a close up of boots at transition where HH says the only way someone could tell it wasn't him was the bootgloves. And then, alas, it contains all those other turns.
Maybe if I pledge to never post my skiing, they'll let me back in ;-)
Lynn, thanks for playing messenger.
In lieu of posting video, I invite you all to observe my skiing first hand in Vermont this season. Protective eyewear and dark lenses advised.

Jim,
Thanks for confirming that snow will be plentiful.
Could you also arrange for a few repeats of the Vantines Day Blizzard over the season?

Meput: I saw a woolly looking caterpillar on the handlebar of my road bike two days ago, from there it's a no brainer. He was clearly scouting for higher locations to remain above snow level (I certainly hope the ninth floor is high enough.)
Does anyone know what the real Farmers Almanac is predicting?
Todd: Ok, you have one picture. I stand corrected, since that is one picture more than I have. :-)

Winter Snowfall Predictions 2014–2015
While Winter 2014–2015 will not be as snowy as last winter, much of the northeastern quarter of the country still will have above-normal snowfall.
Snowfall will be above normal in most of the Northeast, although below normal in much of New England.
Winter snowfall will be below normal in the western mountain region unlike last season which was above-normal snowfall (as predicted by the Almanac). The snowiest time of the season will be early to mid-March.
*** Above was from a Farmer's Almanac teaser web page. However, it matches my recollection of a couple of el Nino winters back when the south and the mid-atlantic had lots of snow but many of the storms tracked out to sea before delivering snow to New England. I think this was winter of 2010-11 and I remember two 18-20" snow storms in Washington, D.C. in a 15 day period. But warm enough that it didn't stay around long. Mid Atlantic resorts (like Snowshoe in West Virginia had a epic Peak year and remained open into April ***

Don't know if it was Lynn's intercession or my offer not to post video, but I'm back on the other forum now.

Did I see Jim write road bike? I thought he'd gone completely over to the mtb side.
I rode across the "walkway across the Hudson" converted rail bridge in POK yesterday for the first time. Nice views of the Hudson Valley. Crowded with people mid afternoon on Saturday, but pleasant on the return half an hour before closing. Should be a beautiful ride in a couple of weeks when the foliage turns.
