For those who crave the good stuff, and for those who doubt the good stuff exists east of the Mississippi: If you really want to see what East coast powder glades are about, well here it is... I have been skiing with this crew for about 5 years every march at jay. My man Connor filmed this with a go pro…he's skiing older shamans set up for Tele (!) and He rips. Last season was a hell of a bounce back year in the east..though the snow fell to the far north (Jay, Stowe, Saddleback, Smuggs) or South (Mt. Snow and Berkshire East) and the central area was stays quo. Jay Peak Batchelor Party 5 Powder day

I should add, this video does a nice job of showing the versatility of the Shamans in eastern pow filled trees (and occasional jumps!). He's on the 173's I think. The other featured skier (my man, Al) is skiing the Ullr's Chariot RL's. He liked them, a lot. This is his video from the same day (so you can see Conor rip up close!).

It was a wednesday up at Jay Peak in late March 2013. Like most places, non-holiday weekday powder and glades can be enjoyed relatively along for most of the day. No hiking here, this is all on the map lift serviced terrain. Jay can be really special if you time it right!
