This storm is costing me 2 days of skiing, today and tomorrow, as my drive is too far. Philly is on the southern edge, with a forecast of 12". What you see is what you get.

LP,
So start driving now! As I always say, to get the good in the east, you have to make plans to get it while it's good. The snow is supposed to be pretty light and cold (hence the deep numbers on what is really on 1.5 of rain), it's not really that bad to drive in…though, weather panic will be at a high.
Judging from the forecast maps, you'd only need to get as far as Mountain Creek, NJ for faceshots on tuesday/ wednesday.

I hope you guys are right on this one. The 'loaf is in desperate need of some "real" snow after 2 inches of rain, 8 days ago.
Weathermen are just like politicians: promise you everything and deliver nothing.

On the southern edge of the snow bomb, it's a total dud. I may have 3 inches, my home mountain did not get any. No wind to speak of.
On the positive side, I will ski tomorrow with no issues about getting there.
